History

Firenze Convention Bureau was set up on 19 July 1995 by the Tuscan Regional Administration, conference centres and other public and private companies working in the industry. It was set up as a non-profit association with remarkable potential.
Firenze Convention Bureau has worked consistently in many directions and has since acquired many events. This success has consolidated its role in the conference industry in the city, enabling it to continue to promote the image of Florence throughout the world as a quality brand supported by the necessary professional expertise.
The logo itself expresses two important concepts: the circular repetition of the Brunelleschi dome stands for the desire to bring together different industries in the city under one common strategy and the simple, modern lines show Florence’s commitment to promoting an image of strength and tradition that is easily recognisable; a city that can preserve its traditional values while still taking on innovative projects focussing on facilities and services in the conference industry.
